Young Selena Gomez struck a pose on the red carpet to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where we hung out to snap pics at the important benefit. Dressed in a great Egyptian-inspired dress in black and gold, the actress looked like she was truly living it up this weekend in Beverly Hills.

Selena recently stated that she was too boring to be a “wild child,” saying that she dresses “like a 30-year-old woman.” Well, if everything looks this cute, she should keep on with it!

I have to hand it to the marketing geniuses who can make voting look this super appealing to the just-barely-18 set. . . even if they make their jobs that much easier by throwing in the lovely Selena Gomez to urge people on! Selena urged future voters to get politically minded ASAP in a professional looking blue button-down, and signed plenty of autographs at the Glendale event location to sweeten the deal.

Wow, she really looks like she was having fun. Now this is the way to encourage younger voters to do something. . . anything?
